Breaking all the record set by its predecessor (FF2 was downloaded 1.5 million times within 24 hours of its release) and exceeding ’sky-is-the-limit’ expectation of 5 million as hoped by the people who organized Download Day, Firefox 3.0 has been downloaded more than 8 million times in one day. Sweet. I am pretty sure the people at Mozilla are in festive mode while waiting waiting for confirmation from Guiness Book of Record who is doing the auditing - finding the exact numbers and remove duplications.

For people who took part in the record breaking event, Mozilla is given Firefox 3 Download Day certificates that you can download in PDF and print and stick it to your cubicle. Actually, anyone can just make their own certificate here. *sigh

I have tried the new browser. Fast indeed. But I have already experienced 3 crashes so far and several forced quit. Is it just me?

I just get my new CMU email. At first I want aditya@cmu but someone has taken the user id before me. It seems that ‘Aditya’ is quite a common name there.
